Lynn, 6x8, oil, $95
After painting the cottonwood by the bridge I turned about 90 degrees to the left and decided to do a quick sketch of Lynn painting by the river. Just a few strokes to describe her position and it seemed to capture the image well enough to leave it alone. The temptation is always to refine more and that usually destroys the accuracy of the initial strokes. So, leave it alone.
