Mountain Top Sunrise, 8x10, oil on gessoed panel

This is an early morning scene from a hunting trip last fall. It's worth the hike in the dark to see this!

Late Afternoon At The Creek, 8x10, oi on hand-primed panel

This is a bit of a composite of different scenes. I've been working at orchestrating a painting a bit more than I have in the past. Challenging, but fun!

This will be on ebay starting tonight. Thanks!

Red Rocks, 8x10, oil on hand-primed panel

Not exactly the famous Red Rocks, but not bad for around Casper. It's all in the perspective! This too is on ebay for 10 days.

Two Sheds, 8x10, oil on hand-primed hardboard

It's been wintry cold and this looked like a warm summer day - good reminder of things to come.

A Parting Of The Ways, 8x10, oil on hand-primed panel

This is a scene I've painted a couple of times. Each time I get a little closer to what I'm after.

It will be on ebay starting tonight for 10 days.

Sun Covered Snow, 8x10, oil on hand-primed panel

Winter at its best. Snowy and sunny.

Boxelder Snow, 8x10, oil on hand-primed panel

This is a little scene from up on Boxelder Road outside of Glenrock. So typical of the mountains in the area. And who can resist pines and snow?

Maisy Mouse comes to life!

This is the first of the homemade Christmas presents for this year. Actually, this will probably be the most elaborate one. I think the rest are going to involve food! Yummy! And a few paintings . . . and maybe a snuggle for the car . . . and maybe . . .

Riley

Poor Riley! He looks so utterly bored! "Are you done YET!??" He was waiting for me to get done painting so we could go for our walk/run.

I'm working on Christmas presents this week, so not too much to post. Hopefully I'll get them done and then I can get back to painting. Making presents is the best!!

Sweet Afternoon Sun & Snow Tracks, 8x10 oil on board

Two plein air paintings from Glendo, Wyoming. The first of the snowy season! It was a beautiful day there - no wind, 40 degrees and sunny. Perfect!

After The Snow, 8x10, oil on Wallis sanded paper

This was fun to do - the same scene in different seasons. I am looking forward to a bit more snow. . . . maybe this weekend.

Before The Snow, 8x10, oil on Wallis sanded paper

This is from up on Boxelder Road outside Glenrock. There will be an "After The Snow" following. I do like fences, dirt roads and old places!

On ebay right now. Thanks!

Morning Shadows, 8x10, oil on hand-primed panel

I took some artistic license with this painting of the neighbors to our north. I'm not sure I've gotten the color just right on the image - the painting is a little calmer than this. Not quite so blue. Anyway, it was fun to paint and I might experiment with this scene some more and make a larger painting of it.

Poplars, 8x10, oil on hand-primed panel

This is sort of an invented painting. One of those ones where I was experimenting with shapes and colors.

Indian Paintbrush, 10x8, oil on hand-primed panel

A little study of Indian Paintbrush. Sort of Christmas-y even if it is a summer flower.

Just Drifting By, 8x10, oil on hand-primed panel

We do get some great skies out here! This one was out my back door, back in September.

Love That Red Dirt!, 8x10 oil on hand-primed panel

I really do love the red dirt out here. Its just such a kick to be going along somewhere and come across a wash like this and see that wonderful color! This is one I'm going to make into a larger painting, only I'm going to crop it a bit in the larger one. And I'm going to make it a square - 14x14 on stretched canvas with a gallery wrapped edge, which means you don't have to frame it if you don't want to.

One of my goals for the next year is to get a website going in January (or sooner) where these larger paintings will be listed for sale. Of course if you're ever interested in one you see here, you can email me and I'll be glad to sell it to you! Thanks! And this little one will be on ebay tonight. Free shipping!

Pines And Aspen, 8x10, oil on hand-primed panel

This is a study of a scene up on Casper Mountain. I think I might make a larger painting of it. On ebay tonight.

Red Willow Day, 8x10, oil on hand-primed panel

This is right out my back window, which is how you do a plein air painting without actually having to go out in the plain air and howling wind! Also on ebay.
